SFoY has been helping local families since 1976. We started providing mentoring for young people from at-risk families. Since then, we have expanded to offer a variety of programs. Our mentoring program has also expanded and changed with the times to include a wide variety of at-risk youth, including those impacted by IDD, justice-involvement, substance abuse, and complex needs. You can find out about our programs by reading through our pages.
The overarching mission of SFoY is to advocate for the needs of youth. To achieve this, we provide a variety of services, including skills-focused counseling, youth violence prevention classes, community service/restitution facilitation, mentoring, juvenile life skills classes, substance use prevention education, substance abuse disorder screening, and substance abuse treatment.
We are so thankful to have such an amazing team of talented and caring staff!
